Come in Great Britain

ANGLETERRE

Deulofeu Emilie,I'am fifteen                                                                                                                                                          years old, My origin is spain                                                                                                                                                          and west indies.

                                                                         COME IN GREAT BRITAIN

Hello my friend, how are you?

I'am good. As you know I have been living in Great Britain for 2 years now. And frankly it's great! The food is very good (Scotch eggs, bacon butties, lemon curd and other delicacies). Then, job opportunities are very high because job changes are frequent so it is not complicated to find a job. When we walk in the streets or the small villages, we remain amazed in front of the buildings, the houses and all the history that they leave. People are optimistic! They always have the right word, always a smile. The nightlife is particularly lively: clubs and discotheques. Living there allows me to improve my English. Frankly, I strongly advise you to come and live or even just visit Great Britain. Besides, I have an anecdote to tell you, you'll laugh. So me and a friend are going to a supermarket for the first time to shop, so we finish shopping and go to the checkout. Then there, the cashier says to my friend “You alright love?!“ At that moment, I look at her with big eyes and I ask my friend “Did you know her?“ and my friend tells me that he does not know her and that he does not know why she does. call “love“. Then the cashier says “Do you need a bag sweetheart?“ We end up paying and we leave the supermarket, without understanding why the cashier was so friendly with her friend. As the days go by, we understand that words such as love, honey, sweetheart, are used daily by the inhabitants here and that they are just nicknames that they constantly give to people, including strangers! It would make me really happy to welcome you and share with you the English culture and all these activities. You tell me if you want to come!

Goodbye,

Emilie
